As part of this group, you will play an integral role in ensuring our day-to-day financial health. The Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization at Apple is a broad organization developing and delivering applications and services across Apple, which directly impact the customer experience. Our team is looking for a financial analyst to join this dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will provide day-to-day finance support for the IS&T organization. You will interact with business partners in IS&T and collaborate across our extended team of financial analysts. The value you bring to our team is the ability to understand a broad spectrum of information and business drivers, distill this information down to what matters, and effectively communicate the financial impact. Dealing with ambiguity and seeing around corners is key.
As a Financial Analyst for IS&T, you will own headcount forecasting and management. You will lead monthly forecast cycles and the quarterly close for the entire organization while providing financial support for initiatives and projects.
- Consolidate and analyze financial results, monthly trends and other expense drivers. Summarize and articulate key points to IS&T and Finance leadership.
- Develop strong business partnerships across the finance team, business partners, and our other cross-functional teams.
- Provide financial support to business partners for initiatives and projects, as well as ad-hoc analyses to facilitate executive decision-making
- Drive process improvements across recurring tasks, systems and cross functional workflows
- 5 years of relevant finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- Extensive Excel and Tableau knowledge and experience
- Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; must be able to form positive relationships with business partners and peers
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive problem solver, encouraged to present problems and recommendations simultaneously
- Organized, detail-oriented, and has the ability to drive efficiencies and seeks to add value
