We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive trademark paralegal to support Apple’s Trademark Group. This role requires a solid understanding of U.S. and international trademark prosecution, enforcement, and adverse proceedings. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, legal research, and drafting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and outside counsel. Successful candidates will be comfortable navigating complex issues and competing priorities, and will approach problem-solving in a creative and efficient manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree, AA degree, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience as a paralegal or equivalent
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing documents and correspondence related to U.S. and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, and extracting relevant information for docketing systems
  • Experience preparing documents and correspondence relating to trademark prosecution, including filings, registrations, and renewals
  • Experience reviewing trademark documents such as watch notices, office actions, provisional refusals, and notices of irregularity
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and self-sufficiency
  • Familiarity with SAEGIS and WebTMS
  • Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Paralegal certificate with trademark specialization
  • Experience with both law firm and in-house docketing systems
  • Experience in technology and consumer electronics industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and outside counsel
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently while managing a high-volume workload and collaborating effectively within a large team in a fast-paced environment
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $52.16 and $78.21/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
