Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for someone to help us do extraordinary things. Apple Retail is seeking a strong commercial development leader to drive critical partnerships and develop strategic growth plans. This role will identify and structure partner agreements, and partner across Retail and Apple including with finance, digital experience, product, and marketing to accelerate growth. The successful candidate will influence Retail’s commercial strategy by driving partnerships vision, plans, and execution and provide actionable insights to leadership.
The WW Commercial Management team is responsible for driving strategic growth plans and initiatives for Apple Retail. The WW Retail Commercial Partnerships Lead role will lead critical commerce partnerships to drive growth.
- Own and manage end-to-end strategic partnerships with high-profile external partners, ensuring alignment with Apple’s long-term business priorities
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies with key partners to drive significant growth for Apple and Retail
- Design and implement commercial programs and business models that align with Apple and partner objectives
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements and strategic arrangements that maximize both immediate and long-term value
- Serve as the primary interface between external partners and cross-functional Apple teams, including engineering, product, and operations, to deliver exceptional results
- Monitor, analyze, and report on partnership performance metrics to guide decision-making and inform future strategy
- Lead high-visibility initiatives that require balancing multiple stakeholders, ambiguity, and shifting priorities while achieving measurable business impact
- 10+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or commercial management with a proven track record of driving results
- Background leading projects and initiatives that requires strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience regularly communicating business concepts to senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated success managing complex external relationships and coordinating across multiple internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, from strategic analysis to execution, in ambiguous and fast-moving environments
- Track record of successfully negotiating complex commercial agreements or strategic partnerships
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Deep interest or experience in e-commerce, payments, and future of shopping
- Proven ability to lead complex strategic initiatives on a global scale, including experience working across regions
- Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
