Apple's worldwide communications team informs the world about our innovative products and services, and the values that drive everything we do. The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media, writing and buzz marketing. We’re looking for trailblazing, collaborative professionals from a variety of creative fields. If that’s you, then your next home may be here. Come and do the best and most exciting work of your career at Apple! We are seeking a Senior Manager, Worldwide Buzz Marketing to lead global cultural strategy for Apple’s wearables portfolio — with a focus on Apple Watch and AirPods. This role will drive the development and stewardship of strategic relationships across music, fashion, fitness, sports and lifestyle — building meaningful partnerships with artists, creators, teams, athletes, coaches, and organizations around the world. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of popular culture and a proven track record of translating cultural insight into high-impact, globally resonant programs. This role will report to the Head of Worldwide Buzz Marketing.
Buzz Marketing sits at the intersection of culture and product — partnering closely with Product Marketing, PR, Marcom, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Sports and more to create strategic, integrated programs that are uniquely Apple. In this role, you will develop and drive cultural strategies that inspire the world’s most influential creators to authentically use and champion Apple products — particularly Apple Watch and AirPods — in modern, socially native ways. This is a highly collaborative, relationship-driven role for someone who understands culture deeply, moves at the speed of social, and knows how to embed Apple products into meaningful, lasting creative communities around the world.
  • Partner with Communications leaders and cross-functional teams to build and execute integrated cultural plans.
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with high-profile Apple users, identifying which partnerships have the greatest long-term potential — and maximizing value for both Apple and the creator.
  • Grow and manage a global pool of Buzz creator relationships across music, sports, fitness, travel, health, and lifestyle.
  • Identify key music, fashion and sports moments where Apple should show up — and ensure we are loud in the right way.
  • Coordinate social-first creator events during major cultural moments (e.g., Fashion Week, World Hearing Day, global sports tournaments).
  • Create and execute strategic product seeding timed to tentpole events and fast-moving social trends, expanding and expediting global seeding when culture moves.
  • Develop always-on campaigns that drive feature awareness and empower creators to bring the magic of AirPods and Apple Watch naturally into their feeds.
  • Engage and entice new users in the wearables space through thoughtful cultural integration.
  • Produce regular cross-line business updates and reports to ensure visibility and alignment across internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering work that is on-strategy, on-time, and to Apple’s standards.
  • Maintain a constant pulse on emerging cultural insights and trends, bringing fresh inspiration into the Buzz organization.
  • 11+ years of experience in cultural marketing, entertainment marketing, communications, talent relations, or integrated brand strategy within a global organization.
  • Proven leadership developing multi-market, cross-functional cultural strategies.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and managing long-term relationships with high-profile creators, athletes, artists, executives, and their representation.
  • Deep expertise in social-first storytelling and product integration across major cultural moments (music, sports, fashion, global tentpoles).
  • Experience leading global product seeding strategies tied to launches, major events, and fast-moving social trends.
  • Strong strategic judgment — able to determine which cultural relationships to prioritize and how to maximize long-term value for the brand.
  • Experience driving wearables (or adjacent hardware) integration into culture through authentic creator storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience managing complex, high-visibility projects simultaneously — delivering on strategy, on time, and to premium brand standards.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, strategic updates and narrative reports for senior leadership.
  • Global mindset with experience operating across multiple regions and cultural contexts.
  • Direct experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
