Apple Services is looking for a data-driven professional to support the Commercial Growth arm of the Strategy & Planning team for Apple TV. The Strategy & Planning team is responsible for the design, modeling, and execution of Apple’s streaming strategy. The team works on projects that are global and highly cross functional in nature, which requires the ability to advance multiple tasks while working to tight deadlines across time zones.
The analyst will support the Strategy and Planning team on the identification and modeling and presentation of commercial growth opportunities including, but not limited to, bundling, channels, transactional and theatrical revenue streams. The role requires superior strategic insight, detailed modeling and analysis, executive level presentation design skills and a solid understanding of subscription and content monetization business models. The individual must possess the ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and work in a highly cross-functional environment.
- Strategic Decision Support - Build financial models to support opportunity evaluation and decision making
- Executive Presentations - Build executive-ready materials to communicate competitive trends, market insights, financial evaluation and recommendations
- Business Performance Monitoring - Support the tracking and monitoring of initiatives that and leading indicators, maintaining dialogue with business leads, Data Science & Analytics and Finance teams
- Market intelligence - identify, synthesise and share market intelligence-based insights to identify levers for Apple TV growth
- Fiscal Planning - Working cross functionally to gather, review and submit inputs for the regular fiscal forecast cycles for non-subscription TV revenue
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a highly analytical role
- Strong ability to create concise, dynamic executive level presentations
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and sustain proactive timely communication
- Humble attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Bachelors degree
- Consulting/banking/commercial finance/strategy experience
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience within matrixed global organizations
- Media/ technology industry experience
