Apple is looking for an Associate Event Manager, Product Launches to help execute Apple’s experiential strategy around new product introductions.
The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments. You’re both a thinker and a doer, with a focus on solutions and a passion for bringing ideas to life through exceptional experiences. You have strong instincts for design, storytelling, and cultural relevance, a rich understanding of the media and social landscape, and you care deeply about crafting experiences that feel authentic, inspiring, and human. As part of the launch team, you’ll help build milestone brand moments that introduce new Apple products to influential audiences — including media, creators, and opinion leaders — and the world, through events, activations, and hands-on moments that showcase Apple’s innovation and creativity.
- In this role, you’ll contribute to the development, planning, and execution of end-to-end launch experiences, which can include everything from launch films to live Keynote presentations, hands-on product experiences, creator spaces, press briefings, demos, and hospitality experiences. Each are carefully considered touch-points that deliver high visibility impact for new products, services and the broader Apple ecosystem
- You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including in PR, marketing, and design, to deliver experiences that are memorable, shareable, and true to Apple’s design standards and values. You have an audience-first mentality, and will be able to support strategic/creative development, manage logistics, and ensure every detail of the audience journey is considered and reflects our high standards
- Contribute to entire project lifecycles: from early concepting and event vision; programming; milestone planning; budget management and financial oversight; development, logistics and operations; vendor management; physical execution and reporting
- Act in both support and lead roles, scaling from the big picture to small details and ensuring smooth and seamless project management
- Communicate clearly and facilitate cross unit collaboration amongst stakeholders, partners, and external resources
- Ideate on event concepts that push the boundaries of experiential marketing, optimize physical experiences for digital amplification, and translate product storytelling into physical experiences that inspire, delight, and yield the desired output
- Stay current and report on emerging cultural trends and formats in experiential marketing
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, brand strategy or program management, preferably at a top tier experiential marketing agency
- BA degree or equivalent professional experience
- Keynote proficiency and presentation skills that drive decision making
- Blend of a creative and analytical problem solver, capable of handling both creative concepts and what it takes to operationalize and move concept to reality
- Influential presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for building brands, product-first storytelling, world-class experiences, and all things culture
- Project development and management experience, including strategic development and the creation of compelling presentations
- Hyper-organized with an obsession for details, excellent time management skills, and the ability to be proactive in identifying potential problems and appropriate solutions
- Comfortable navigating through ambiguity, while still tracking objectives and advancing deliverables
- Approachable and resourceful, with the ability to develop trusting relationships and influence outcomes in Apple’s best interest
- Track record of being agile, reacting quickly to new information and seamlessly adapting project plans accordingly
- Willing to travel on request up to 25% of the time
