We are actively seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager who is committed to working in a critical environment that values continuous improvement and embraces change. The Apple People Engineering team develops privacy-centric data solutions that leverage advanced data engineering, integrations, and machine learning data storage technologies at massive scale. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to project manage, coordinate, and implement critical large-data integrations with security and privacy controls.
  • Project Management support for Apple People systems and related integrations with the Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Product Owner responsibilities (e.g. Solutioning & Requirements development liaison between cross-functional technical teams and data users).
  • User Stories Intake Management (receipt/review, sizing, prioritization, resource & sprint assignment, backlog grooming).
  • Leading/scheduling/documenting collaborative work solutioning sessions.
  • Leading/managing weekly standup meetings for current projects and sustaining systems processes.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer Documentation.
  • 4+ years of experience leading/deploying/sustaining projects or programs and operations in technology-driven environments or similar that includes source applications, integrations/interfaces, EDW, and client-server solutions tied to Business Operational user processes.
  • Process and Systems Engineering experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at presenting solutions and insights to diverse audiences and encouraging collaborative relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and program management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve highly variable and complex operational issues creatively.
  • Demonstrable ability to forge relationships with partners from varied technical and operational backgrounds.
  • Proficiency using Mac OS, iOS, and common desktop applications like Radar, Ai/ML/GPT tools, Slack, Wrike, Box, Quip, Miro, Keynote, Pages, or other
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Agile and Waterfall practitioner (certified if possible, e.g. PMP, SAPM, etc).
  • Proven history in operationalizing new infrastructure, risk mitigation, and validating advanced hardware prior to deployment.
  • Ops-Systems Project history includes problem-solution brainstorming & development, full end-to-end SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), emergency projects, insertion midway into “in-trouble projects”, decommissioning and sustaining support, for single application to complex multi-application (internal & external partner)/interface) systems integrations.
  • Expertise/experience in application source data analytics and governance solutions, integrations/interfaces/data pipelines, and data warehousing (e.g. EDW, Snowflake, Teradata).
  • Familiarity with interpreting SQL, JSON, XML, API, EDI, and HTML.
  • Ability to understand and create systems architectural visuals that include data flow diagrams, process flowcharts, and systems/process maps.
  • Exposure to Privacy Data Governance and solutions like encryption, de-encryption, anonymization, de-anonymization, data masking, access authorizations, detection systems, and secure data enclaves for restricted data.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,500 and $237,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
