Marcom Platform & Services (MP&S) partners with Marcom’s Global Marketing Communications group to deliver platforms and tools. Marcom oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications.
In the role of Engineering Project Manager, you will play an integral part in Marcom’s support of the content management platform to support apple.com. Apple.com is a showcase for Internet standards and innovation in addition to being a critical part of our product marketing strategy. You will work cross-functionally and globally to support the Content Management platform that supports product launches, campaigns, and other corporate initiatives. You will also be responsible for working with our partner teams to develop, train, support, and enhance the overall platform for Marcom.
- Influence roadmaps to ensure the customer experience for our content management platform is maintained at the highest quality.
- Build strong relationships with development, content management, and cross-functional teams to move projects forward.
- Train and document user workflows as new features and enhancements are released on the platform.
- Organize and summarize high-level concepts and overall business direction succinctly to all levels of the organization.
- Drive and contribute to cross-functional tactical project plans, objectives, and schedules that support department needs as they pertain to project and resource management.
- Prioritize complex features and ongoing changes in real time and refine processes based on ongoing business needs.
- Evangelize the platform and new ways of working with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multiple partners, build positive relationships, and lead a multidisciplinary team toward desired results.
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ technical degree or a minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working with Headless CMS solutions.
- History of change management and working in fast, iterative software development lifecycles (SDLC’s).
- Comfortable managing multiple, complex work streams within a fast paced environment.
- Ability to deliver results and have a can-do attitude when it comes to hitting achievements and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, who can build trusting relationships with a diverse team.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, self-directed, self-sufficient.
- Ability to provide training / support of new and existing features of Content Management platform to global teams
- Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Experience working with Digital Asset Management systems.
- Analytics mindset and results driven.
