About the Role & Program:

Disney has long been known for the quality of our Guest Experiences, including world-class service. Where “consumer” represents our at home audience, and a “Guest” is immersed in our products and experiences. This role really focuses on the “Customer Experience” during the planning phase. We concentrate on the interactions, rules, and requirements involved to consider, plan, purchase, reserve, and manage a WDW vacation.

Today it is increasingly important for us to help Customers understand WDW, make confident choices, navigate our unique planning requirement, know the business rules, and for us to provide quality service when and how they expect.

Our mission as the Customer Experience and Commercial Intelligence team is to put our data assets to work and discover previously unknown insights about our customers to create insightful recommendations to enhance their WDW Customer Experience. This is a unique role, that works across a variety of functional areas. A position like this puts you in the middle of the main commercial and customer experience decisions of the company – and is a great way to showcase your analytical and project management skills!

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026-June 2026.

What You Will Do:

While each day will be different, your role will help bring remarkable experiences to life, with main themes around:

  • Analytics: Closely partner with analytics experts and data scientist to link the right data assets to the proper analytical techniques to measure success of initiatives and to monitor the Customer Experience scores over time. Interpret data and visualize results via reports and dashboards.

  • Customer Experience Storyteller: Propose points of view on potential business impacts through discovery and translation of insights to support customer experience. Build strong presentations that show context to the analysis and link to actionable recommendations.

  • Project Management: Develops project plans that articulate the value, sets milestones, connects across all our partners, and moves projects forward. Proactively communicates progress and changes. Supports cross functional customer experience forums through agenda and partner management.

  • Industry Knowledge: Discover insights through the industry and competitor research to assist in recommendations in business opportunities

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Solution oriented, creative problem solver with high intellectual curiosity

  • Time-management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple requests and proactively communicate status to stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated competency in data collection, design, data analysis, data quality control, database file management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and craft concise recommendations

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders from different backgrounds and functions

  • Proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in an often ambiguous, fast-paced environment

  • Passion for connecting data to the operation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.

Required Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or other related quantitative major preferred.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information:

  • This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026-June 2026.

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area.

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $30.00 per hour.
