Specifically, this position will be responsible for the management, coordination, training, and oversight of all related operations.

About Your Future Team
The Global Security Communications Center (GSCC) is responsible for supporting emergency and non-emergency events, researching global affairs, incoming call mitigation, event dispatching, and event-driven global notification services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In an emergency, the team directs and coordinates Disney enterprise assistance and support by providing technical and advisory assistance for the performance of essential operational services, the issuance of warnings of risks and hazards, dissemination of employee information, as well as serving as the central communication intake point for Global Security.

Everyday as a Programs Manager is unique, and depending on the day you might:
- You will report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Operations and work to develop an effective security plan to support the operations, projects, and activities within the Disney Global Security Department.
- Evolve and lead the GSCC’s enterprise-wide Travel Safety and Social Media Research programs. This includes maintaining relationships with key business unit partners, social media keyword and query maintenance and integration into GSCC monitoring systems, collaboration with vendors to align with current and long term priorities and sharing your expertise with other GSCC teams to ensure that we leverage best in class capabilities and industry trends.
- Design and execute training for GSCC teams, oversee the development and maintenance of GSCC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and collaborate with Global Security partners to evolve GSCC processes for your programs.
- Ensure all company assets are accurately mapped in GSCC monitoring systems by collaborating with the Geospatial Analysis Team to conduct routine mapping audits on incoming and existing data sets.
- Assist the team with data management in highly specialized travel safety mapping and social media systems.
- Coordinate the marketing, planning and execution of the GSCC travel safety program and its resources for internal security and non-security partners.
- Evaluate training materials, modes of training delivery, and all areas of training related to supporting employee development initiatives.
- Develop and run alternative training methods such as conducting drills and running training scenarios.
- Supervise the design and implementation of project related security strategies, security policies/standards and establish a concrete course of action for their implementation and review.
- Enforce department standards with personnel and provide feedback and documentation regarding personnel performance.
- Maintains systems support to ensure current daily and accurate maintenance and reporting on all hardware and software equipment.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
- 7 years or more within corporate or public sector global security
- 5 years or more of those working in a 24/7 Operations Center related field within corporate or public sector global security
- Experience converting complex datasets into clear, insightful, and visually appealing presentations with tools like Power BI and leveraging Power Automate, Smartsheets, Sharepoint, and Confluence to share and streamline information.
- Professional background and training in international travel security, corporate duty of care, and global risk trends. This includes an understanding the global travel industry, key technology vendors and partnerships, and software tools.
- Experience with corporate Global Travel Safety programs which leverage ISO 31030, the highest of industry standards and practices, and partnerships across multiple stakeholder business units and vendors.
- Experience in open-source intelligence (OSINT) programs, which includes working-level knowledge and experience with: conducting social media research, building queries to automate the collection of key words and phrases, producing tailored products, and collaborating with vendors.
- Experience in leveraging current technology platforms, their integration into Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operational frameworks, and developing innovative solutions to improve user experience.
- A technical eye for metrics, process automation, visualizing complex asset types, and working with technical experts to enhance and drive the GSCC’s data ingestion.
- You’re a leader amongst your peers and have strong verbal & written communications skills.
- Your guest service/interpersonal skills help you maintain a calm & cool demeanor on a routine basis during emergency situations or under extreme pressure.
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Outstanding presentation skills and comfort briefing executives, large groups, or law enforcement.
- Ability to prioritize issues, voice your opinion on assigned topics, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal security and emergency management systems.
Education, certifications, and professional association participation is important to us, here’s what we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience, with experience in an international relations-related field, masters degree preferred
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- ASIS, ATAP, AIRIP, Analyst Roundtable, SEC, DSAC, OSAC or similar professional association membership preferred

The hiring range for this position in California is $113,800.00 - $152,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
