Overview
We are seeking a Staff‑Level Embedded Software Engineer who excels at both deep technical problem‑solving and high‑impact customer interaction. This hybrid role blends advanced embedded engineering with developer‑facing responsibilities, serving as the technical bridge between our internal teams, partner ecosystem, and enterprise customers.
You will act as the senior technical lead for customizing and extending our embedded platform—owning integrations, API‑driven experiences, application‑layer enhancements, and customer solution delivery. This role includes hands-on development work across Python, React, AWS, and Django, as well as direct collaboration with customers, partners, and indirect channel teams to ensure successful adoption of our platform
Responsibilities
- Translate business and customer requirements into scalable solution architectures and end‑to‑end designs.
- Own the technical blueprint for customer implementations, ensuring alignment with platform capabilities and long‑term strategy.
- Conduct architectural reviews, recommend design patterns, and ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices.
- Collaborate with product, sales engineering, and customer teams to define requirements and build implementation roadmaps.
- Lead custom feature development and customer‑specific initiatives from ideation through deployment.
- Own technical direction, timelines, and deliverables for customization projects.
- Design and develop test automation; analyze and design large, complex initiatives.
- Communicate design updates and project status to leadership; provide accurate estimates.
- Improve SDLC and CI/CD practices; ensure team compliance and monitor progress.
- Provide technical support across environments, including production troubleshooting.
- Maintain existing code bases and support QA, UAT, and post‑implementation validation.
- Mentor engineers, share technical expertise, and support team growth.
- Serve as principal technical lead on cross‑team initiatives and partner with engineering and delivery teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert across multiple technologies and applications.
- Strong experience with embedded systems, API design, and integration workflows.
- Expertise in Python (Django preferred), React, and AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to customers and partners.
- Proven success in customer‑facing engineering, developer support, or solutions engineering roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of experience in Related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
