Overview
Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role that will partner closely with Product and Engineering, Marketing, Sales,Customer Success, Implementation, and Learning across the product lifecycle, from market testing, commercialization and
launch, to growing product and service adoption and advocacy. The Product Marketing Manager will serve as the positioning and messaging strategist for assigned product and service initiatives within the product life cycle. The Product Marketing Manager
will need to be collaborative, customer centric, organized, and detail oriented. The role requires the ability to understand customer and partner needs and expectations, and act as the subject matter expert (SME) responsible for translating product
and service capabilities into compelling value propositions and pulling through in strategic GTM communications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute GTM positioning, messaging, and enablement materials for key Paychex products and services initiatives. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective rollouts.
- Curate strategic and effective communications and communication plans.
- Leverage insights and feedback from early adopter or controlled initiatives to refine product and service positioning and messaging as well as inform the product and service roadmap and strategy.
- Collaborate on strategies for product awareness, product training, and product adoption trainings or webinars – both internal and external.
- Oversee product update communications and strategy assigned product and service initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field - Required
- 5 years of experience in Marketing B2C or B2B brands in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- 4 years of experience in Product marketing role involving responsibility for development of audience segmentation, insights, and GTM strategy.
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $97,500.00/Yr - $153,200.00/Yr Annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
