Overview
The Market Strategy Lead role will help to define our products and offerings as our current product strategy evolves. This individual will drive awareness, understanding, and response to the needs of our customers and market segments. This position will work closely with our centralized Corporate Strategy team to ensure consistency in the execution of Market Team and Business Unit strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Directs analysis on market POV. Monitors competitors' products, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify areas for disruption/differentiation and define potential offerings, business case, and value proposition at concept level. Explores new revenue sources. Researches and identifies opportunities for product diversification, upselling, cross-selling, or entering new markets to drive additional revenue streams.
- Oversees entire offering life cycle. Responsible for commercial outcomes across market segment while continuously defining and refining competitive analysis and market and audience segmentation.
- Analyzes product performance, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and maximizing revenue streams to ensure profitability. Develops tactics to retain existing customers, reduce churn, and enhance customer satisfaction to drive long-term revenue growth
- Immerses in understanding the needs and pain points of clients. In addition to market research, engages with customers through interview/feedback, and collaboration with sales and customer support teams to gather firsthand insights.
- Directs sales, service, and IT product teams to deliver solutions with right industry/domain context. Completes detailed offering design and creates business plan specifying cross-functional investment requirements and revenue / profit expectations
- Determines marketing investment by channel, converts technical positioning into market messages against key competitors, and socializes offering differentiation by segment and cohort. Works to expand reach via digital delivery and drive sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- 3+ years experience building and driving strategic sales initiatives - Required
- Experience developing, understanding and driving sales analytics - Required
- HCM experience - strongly preferred
