About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding people, property, and assets across various environments. Your presence helps deter wrongdoing, respond to incidents, and maintain a secure atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to ensure safety and deter illegal activity.
- Monitor and authorize access of vehicles and individuals.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents promptly.
- Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper security.
- Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious behavior.
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities.
- Provide customer service and support to visitors and employees.
- Document daily activities and write detailed incident reports.
Skills Needed & Desired
- Valid D License (G License favorable)
- Drug-free status
- Strong communication skills (bilingual/multilingual favorable)
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
- Conflict management abilities
- High-level customer service skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Patrol experience (vehicle, foot, or golf cart)
- Loss prevention knowledge
- Surveillance and CCTV monitoring experience
- Emergency response and management
- Incident and daily report writing
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (highly desired)
- Two-way radio experience
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Team collaboration
- Procedural compliance
