The Software and Digital Platforms team in France is looking for a Cloud and AI Solution Architect (CSA) specializing in Data and AI. This role focuses on working with Digital Natives and high growth startups that are building modern software platforms and AI powered products.

As a CSA, you will work with some of the most innovative engineering teams to design and implement AI first data architectures on Azure. A key priority of this role is helping organizations build the intelligence layer of their platforms using Microsoft Fabric together with the Microsoft IQ platform, including Foundry IQ and Fabric IQ. These technologies enable companies to unify data engineering, analytics, and AI development to accelerate the creation of intelligent applications and agentic experiences.

You will guide customers through the design and implementation of modern data platforms that support classical relational databases, distributed NoSQL architectures, and vector databases required for modern AI workloads. The role includes supporting large scale implementations, modernizing existing database environments, and helping organizations implement strong data governance, security, and operational practices.

Working closely with founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders, you will translate complex product and platform requirements into scalable architectures that support rapid innovation and global growth. You will collaborate with Microsoft product groups, engineering teams, and partners to bring the latest innovations in data platforms and AI technologies to Digital Native companies.

Partner with Digital Natives and startup engineering teams to design and implement AI first data platforms on Azure that power modern software products and intelligent services.

Architect and implement the AI intelligence layer using Microsoft Fabric together with the Microsoft IQ platform, including Foundry IQ and Fabric IQ, enabling unified data, analytics, and AI capabilities.

Guide customers through large scale implementations of modern data architectures that support relational databases, distributed NoSQL systems, and vector databases required for advanced AI and generative AI workloads.

Support data modernization initiatives by helping organizations migrate, optimize, and scale existing database platforms while improving performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Advise technical decision makers on building secure and governed data environments, implementing modern data governance frameworks, lifecycle management practices, and enterprise grade security controls.

Collaborate with Microsoft account teams, product groups, and partner ecosystems to accelerate adoption of Azure Data and AI platforms.

Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable architectures that enable startups and Digital Natives to build intelligent applications and data driven services.

Provide technical leadership through architectural guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing across teams and communities.

Identify patterns and insights across Digital Native customers and provide feedback to Microsoft engineering teams to help improve products and platform capabilities.

Operate with strong operational excellence across all engagement stages, ensuring delivery follows proven practices, architectural standards, and Microsoft methodologies.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Several years of experience working with modern data platforms and cloud based data architectures.

Hands on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data engineering, analytics, or AI related workloads.

Experience designing or implementing scalable data architectures that support relational, NoSQL, or distributed data systems.

Understanding of modern AI and analytics workloads, including data platforms that support machine learning and generative AI scenarios.

Experience working in customer facing technical roles or collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Preferred qualificatons:

Experience working with software companies, Digital Natives, or startup environments is preferred.
