Overview

This role is accountable for shaping and executing a clear, disciplined, and high‑impact internal communications strategy for the Asia President, aligned to the Asia business priorities. Operating as a senior individual contributor, this leader partners closely with the Asia President to elevate leadership visibility, ensure message clarity, and strengthen employee understanding of priorities, progress, and impact across diverse markets in Asia.

The role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional judgment and minimal oversight, assesses complex inputs, makes prioritization decisions, and streamlines communications to focus attention where it matters most. Brings an operator’s mindset that closely links strategy to outcomes, with rigorous attention to detail and consistent execution excellence from intent through delivery.

Success in this role demands the understanding of an extremely fast-paced and highly competitive business environment, the ability to translate the Asia President point of view and voice into crisp, compelling internal narratives, while driving execution excellence across leadership messaging and employee communications across communication platforms.



Responsibilities

Lead executive and employee communications for the Asia President, shaping a coherent, high‑impact narrative that aligns leadership messaging, regional priorities, and employee engagement across a complex, matrixed organization. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Asia President and leadership team, enabling clarity, alignment, and action at scale.

Communication Strategy & Planning

Own end‑to‑end strategy and execution of an integrated executive and employee communications approach aligned to the Asia President agenda and business priorities. Translate complex strategies, transformations, and value propositions into clear, compelling communications tailored to diverse audiences. Determine and orchestrate optimal channels, events, formats, and sequencing to drive understanding, alignment, and momentum. Partner closely with Communication/PR, Sales, and key functional teams to shape external speaking engagements that elevate the Asia business agenda.

Executive Communications & Voice

Own and evolve the Asia President’s executive communications platform, delivering a clear, consistent, and influential voice that shapes understanding, alignment, and action across the region. Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and leadership team, guiding narratives, executive messaging, and leadership presence for key moments, initiatives, and employee engagements.

Employee Communications & Engagement

Leads strategy development and execute internally for employee communications. Drives an over-arching cadence of communications and platforms (top of mind, other internal initiatives). Collaborates internally with others to create communications and develop platforms (including internal events) to inform and facilitate employee communications, including negotiating with collaborators to align priorities which may include leader communications like all-hands, SharePoint sites, organization emails, organization changes, etc. Measures, plans, and informs team efforts by utilizing data and insights from internal surveys and feedback channels. Creates content and storytelling that is current and aligned with internal and external relevant corporate guidance. Drives the adoption and use of new technology and tools to help facilitate two-way dialogue between leaders and employees.

Execution & Content Excellence

Operate effectively in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment, aligning diverse stakeholders and priorities. Takes responsibility for whole bill of materials and experiences. Creates ideas for and develops collateral materials (e.g., decks, posts, talking points) for use in a range of communications initiatives and events. Recommends and develops frameworks and commensurate collateral. Solicits feedback and iterates as appropriate. Modifies narratives in real time based on reaction/response. Tests effectiveness of messaging. Demonstrates expertise in available channels, which channels to leverage, and what to advocate for in terms of messaging. Ensures work is complementary and not duplicative or conflicting with others' efforts. Understands standardized tools and templates available and uses them appropriately.

Measurement, Insights & Effectiveness

Define success metrics and KPIs tied to business and employee outcomes for executive and employee communications. Monitor engagement, sentiment, and impact; synthesize insights to evaluate effectiveness and inform strategic refinement. Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership, driving continuous improvement.

Stakeholder, Cross‑Comms Partnership & Collaboration

Partner closely with Communications and PR teams, Area Executive and Employee Communications Leads, Agencies, to ensure integrated messaging, consistent narratives, and effective coordination across internal and external audiences. Serve as a connective leader between the Asia President Office and communications counterparts, enabling alignment, scale, and shared best practices.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 8+ years experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role, in a fast-paced enterprise technology environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of the markets in Asia will be advantageous.
