The Engines & Experiences (E&E) Marketing Technology team is looking for a highly talented Marketing Operations Business Program Manager (BPM) to help drive its marketing operations and reporting efforts across its portfolio of cloud products. In this role, you’ll be the execution “glue” for an ace team of marketing professionals with a variety of skills (Marketing Technologists, Platform Specialists, Data Analysts, Field Operations specialists and others) to drive buyers to make the right choice for Microsoft. Responsibilities
  • Understand marketing campaign business and technical requirements and constraints, leading and driving the effort to translate those requirements into strategic marketing solutions
  • Organize and lead cross-team triage and planning sessions, establishing the tools and processes to support management of incoming requests and driving a v-team to evaluate, prioritize and deliver against those requests
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional workstreams with business stakeholders and executive leaders to identify and prioritize operational excellence opportunities to drive measurable improvements in our operating model to reduce time, improve quality, and reduce costs
  • Help to ramp up, train, support, and mentor other business program managers and vendor scale teams, including best-practices sharing across similar teams within Microsoft

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, operations or related experience OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success at complex program management, with experience in marketing/business or managing marketing campaign operations
  • Prior experience working in Marketo, Adobe, or other email marketing tools
  • 1+ year(s) technology/process improvement experience
  • Prior experience leading the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional work
  • Prior experience in optimizing processes using data related insights
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
  • Understanding of data management and analytics, including marketing audience segmentation and campaign experimentation, in the context of modern marketing
  • Understanding of marketing communication strategy and marketing technology/content management platforms in the context of modern marketing
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 and/or Cloud + AI products and services


Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
