Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Software Engineer II to join the Enterprise Sydney Platform team and contribute to defining and improving agility across engineering workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solving real-world engineering problems and is eager to make a measurable impact.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Solid coding and debugging skills in modern programming languages.
  • Experience working in agile environments and contributing to process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Passion for solving engineering inefficiencies and improving team productivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in software engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of agility-focused engineering practices.
  • Identify inefficiencies in delivery pipelines and propose practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and managers to implement KPI-driven improvements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical deep dives.
  • Own and deliver features that improve engineering velocity and customer outcomes.
