The Partner Programs team within Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) is seeking a Principal Product Management Manager to lead a high-impact, partner-facing, and technically strategic team.

In this role, you will manage a group of deeply technical product managers specializing in cybersecurity and AI. Together, you’ll collaborate with strategic Microsoft partners to accelerate adoption and usage of our security solutions through technical enablement. You’ll also influence product direction by advocating for partner needs, ensuring our engineering teams deliver experiences that drive measurable value.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product and Partner Marketing, Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS), and your counterparts in M365 and Azure, aligning efforts to deliver on committed Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) through our partner ecosystem. As the primary liaison to the Identity and Network Access (IDNA) and Management Engineering leadership teams, you’ll represent all partner-related initiatives with clarity and strategic intent.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years' experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • 8+ years' experience in product management or related discipline with a track record managing complex / cross-group projects with many partners and stakeholders.
  • 4+ years of experience engaging with Microsoft partners and managing expectations in partner-facing roles.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft’s broader security product suites including Entra and/or Intune.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years people management experience.
  • Experience delivering concise and fact-based communications / presentations both verbal and written and adapting style and level of information based on audience.
  • Experience evaluating and translating customer/partner needs, requirements, and challenges, identifying solutions (positioning, technology, business value, prioritization), and communicating improvement opportunities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
