Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
- 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- Experience in structuring and facilitating executive (VP+) forums, with the ability to identify urgent issues and navigate competing perspectives.
- Knowledge of Google’s Ads products, sales teams, or service operations, and the customer and competitive contexts in which they operate.
- Ability to own large, complex cross-functional projects or programs and drive end-to-end outcomes and deliverables.
- Ability to understand and articulate the big picture to highly technical teams, and understand detailed technical roadmaps to ensure expedited AI programs execution.
About the job
As the Head of Strategy and Operations, gTech Ads AI Programs, you will drive top AI programs end-to-end across various stages - opportunity identification, conceptualization, business requirements, product detailed design, technical development, adoption and successful impact realization. You lead a global team of strategic program managers to partner closely with TAI (gTech Ads Tools, Automation and Infrastructure team), gTech Ads, GTM or Global Business Applied AI, gData, Finance and Marketing teams. You will be responsible for establishing rigorous Technical Program Management to supercharge TAI development and translating long-term strategy into tactical initiatives for your team.Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. Responsibilities
- Define and drive a holistic AI strategy for gTech Ads, focus on driving clear business outcomes (customer experience, customer growth and operational efficiency). Lead evolving AI technologies and application to super-charge deployment of AI at scale.
- Define top AI programs, drive roadmaps and execution seamlessly in close collaboration with various Engineering, Product, Program Management, Data Analytics and Business teams.
- Lead and empower a global team of AI strategic program managers, set clear plans and goals, provide oversight, foster collaboration, and remove roadblocks to execution.
- Lead and represent AI programs to executive gTech Ads or GTM leadership to provide regular roadmap progress, and unlock new opportunities or debottleneck execution to deliver impact on the ground.
- Identify and drive systemic improvement opportunities, ensure excellence in their technical development and product management functions.
