Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in UX product writing, information architecture, or related disciplines and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Experience in leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance content creation workflows, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.
- Include a portfolio, showcasing leadership in UX content design projects, processes and playbooks, and scalable team impact. (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience leading and mentoring UX content design teams.
- Experience with conversation design and prompt engineering.
- Understanding of the APAC region, with its various cultures, languages, and user behaviors.
- Ability to create and implement AI-enabled workflows across various phases of UX Writing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Google is seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) staff content designer to lead and mentor the dynamic team of UX content designers across the Asia-Pacific region focusing on India as well as additional core Asia markets.
In this role, you will develop and advocate exceptional processes including AI-first enablement and drive content quality across the various product landscapes. This is not a direct managment role. You will lead the integration of AI Tools and processes for content creation and delivery, to significantly enhance the internal content design workflows, boosting efficiency and innovation. You will be instrumental in guiding the team's growth, fostering their skills, and advancing their careers while collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful user experiences.
Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive content design strategy for key products or markets, ensure alignment with overall product and UX goals. Establish content design processes, standards, quality frameworks to ensure consistency and excellence. Align and influence global surface content strategies.
- Advocate and implement AI tools and technologies to improve internal content design workflows, content generation, analysis, and team productivity. Develop best practices for leveraging AI in content design.
- Mentor a collaborative APAC UX content team, ensure best practices are implemented across career development.
- Partner with Product Management, UX Design, UX Research, Engineering, and Marketing teams across different time zones and cultural contexts within the APAC region to deliver user-centric product experiences.
- Create and deliver clear, concise, engaging, and high-quality UX content, including UI text, user guidance, content hierarchies, style guides, and documentation employing AI-first workflows.
