Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, developing and executing strategies.
  • Ability to communicate in one of Nordic languages (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish) fluently, to support client relationship management in this region.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in translating data into insights and actionable business priorities.
  • Experience as a general manager in business development or sales strategy.
  • Understanding the industry's challenges, direction for its growth and an intention to advance strategies within the marketplace.
  • Track record of building high-growth cross-functional teams and scaling businesses.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

ChromeOS is an essential part of Google’s Platforms and Devices business, a key pillar to ensure Google’s continued growth. The ChromeOS Consumer GTM team is responsible for strengthening the position of ChromeOS (Chromebook) in the laptop market. To achieve this, the team works closely with retailers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and chip manufacturers to bring a wide portfolio of Chromebooks to market, across offline and online channels. Combining strategy, planning, Profit and Loss (P&L) management, and day-to-day execution, we work cross-functionally with the Global organization, across GTM, Product, Marketing, Finance and Legal to develop the ChromeOS business in the Nordic region.

As Partner Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships and strategic projects with key Partners in the ChromeOS ecosystem across the region. You will nurture strong relationships with our key retail and OEM partners, to drive the Chromebook business and accelerate the ChromeOS ecosystem. You will leverage your strong partnership, sales and channel management skills to drive strategic planning as well as execution, and you will be responsible for the business success of your partners.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture strong relationships with our key retail and OEM partners across the region and be responsible for their business success
  • Drive strategic planning and execution with partners to reach their goals. Includes managing decisions for ChromeOS device assortment and in-store and online retail execution
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, central teams and agencies to ensure that teams are aligned and working towards common objectives, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Define and execute local priorities and carry out the Global strategy in a Nordic context.
  • Provide market insights and partner feedback to help shape ChromeOS’s product roadmap and long-term strategy.
