Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in Trust and Safety, data analytics, policy, regulations, cybersecurity, escalations, or related fields.
- Ability to communicate in English, Mandarin and Cantonese or Hokkien fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SQL and spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of current and emerging policy trends relating to online content platforms and digital media.
- Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies.
- Ability to operate proactively in a fast-paced environment and executing cross-functional projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive strategy and business action, and exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, people management, and project management skills.

Responsibilities
- Monitor intel sources, work with cross-functional teams, and leverage deep native market expertise to identify key abuse trends in APAC markets (Taiwan, Hong Kong and others), monitor emerging sensitive events, and highlight risks to the YouTube ecosystem and Trust and Safety.
- Prepare for upcoming events in the region and support sensitive escalations. Support identification and vetting of external intel partners.
- Triage threats, prepare risk assessments, and action plans based on market knowledge, including regional events and escalations, and act as the main point of contact.
- Drive the launch of news related product features across APAC markets.
