The Role & Your Impact

As a core part of our Operations division, the Corporate Accounting team powers the billing and payment processes for everything from e-commerce and job ads to large enterprise contracts. In this role, you will ensure our financial health by collecting unpaid invoices, reconciling revenue, and elevating our systems to help Devex reach its goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the Billing Lifecycle: Oversee e-commerce and job ad billing profiles, handling sign-ups, cancellations, and invoice confirmations.
• Drive Collections & Revenue: Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue balances while maintaining a positive member experience.
• Master the Tech Stack: Process payments and manage billing modalities utilizing QuickBooks, Zuora, Stripe, and Merchant e-Solutions.
• Deliver Exceptional Support: Resolve member inquiries regarding billing and job ads via Zendesk, phone, and email.
• Optimize & Improve: Generate financial reports (like AR aging), perform data clean-ups for complete accuracy, and identify system enhancements to automate manual tasks.

Your First Year With Us:

• First 90 Days: You will become fully autonomous in navigating our tech stack (Zuora, Stripe), master Zendesk communication, and take complete ownership of daily administrative billing cycles.
• By the End of Year One: You will shift from managing tasks to owning ecosystem efficiency. Expect to have fast-tracked support responses, boosted collections, implemented workflow automation, and established yourself as a key cross-functional partner.

Who You Are

• Experienced: You bring 3–4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections, OR you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in Zuora, Stripe, or similar platforms. (Bonus points if you have advanced Excel skills or multi-currency experience!)
• Communicative: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle client inquiries professionally via ticketing systems like Zendesk.
• Flexible & Collaborative: You thrive in a remote setup but are open to onsite collaboration. You are ready to champion the 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight) shift.
