As a Corporate Sales – Associate - in Macro Corporate Sales, you will maintain and develop relationships with corporate clients and provide foreign exchange and rates solutions. You will translate macro and market developments into actionable trade ideas and help clients execute efficiently across primary and secondary markets. You will work as part of a collaborative coverage team focused on disciplined risk management, strong controls, and a high-quality client experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate client relationships, with a focus on delivering foreign exchange and rates solutions
  • Partner with Trading, Structuring, Debt Capital Markets, Syndicate, and Research to provide coordinated, comprehensive client coverage
  • Develop and deliver market updates and actionable trade ideas aligned to client objectives and risk profiles
  • Execute client transactions across primary and secondary markets with a focus on quality, accuracy, and best outcomes for clients
  • Analyze key market drivers (macro, central banks, volatility, liquidity) and communicate implications clearly to clients
  • Identify cross-product opportunities and coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
  • Maintain strong discipline around documentation, controls, and process adherence
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and the firm’s risk management policies and standards

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in macro sales covering China / Hong Kong corporate clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of flow and structured products, including foreign exchange (FX) forwards and options; interest rate swaps (IRS) and rates options; structured notes; total return swaps (TRS)
  • Proven ability to identify market drivers and articulate trade rationale and risk considerations
  • Strong client communication skills and ability to influence outcomes with internal partners
  • Detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to process, controls, and quality management
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Fluent Cantonese and Mandarin
