Job Summary:
As a Quantitative Analytics Senior Associate in Home Lending Servicing Data Analytics, you support the servicing organization by translating data into insights and operational improvements.
Job responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business partners to gather, clarify, and document reporting and analytics requirements
- Develop, test, and maintain operational and analytical reports and dashboards using SQL and reporting tools
- Produce business requirements and functional specifications that support delivery and ongoing support
- Extract, manipulate, and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to uncover insights and optimize servicing processes
- Identify and implement opportunities to use automation and large language models to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Five years of experience in quantitative analysis or data analysis
- Three years of advanced SQL experience, including complex queries (multi-join queries, common table expressions, window functions)
- Five years of experience using business intelligence or reporting tools (for example, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services, or ThoughtSpot)
- Working knowledge of Python (or a similar language) for analytics and automation
- Demonstrated ability to frame ambiguous questions into structured analyses using hypotheses, inputs, and success metrics
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail from analysis through production-ready reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of home lending products and servicing processes
- Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence concepts, including basic prompt development and evaluation
- Experience influencing stakeholders through negotiation and practical, win-win solutions
