As a Regional Corporate Third Party Oversight professional within the LATAM & Canada Governance team, you will strengthen our third-party risk management framework by collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to drive regulatory compliance, identify improvements, and implement strategic initiatives. You will also support communications, training, and engagement with location outsourcing governance teams, while coordinating cross-jurisdictional projects and managing regional outsourcing governance relationships — all in support of our continued leadership in financial services.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess regulatory changes and identify gaps in existing policies and processes.
- Manage internal and external examinations related to the oversight framework.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for regional stakeholders.
- Support and coordinate projects with global and local teams.
- Draft content and prepare presentations to support clear and effective stakeholder communications.
- Train and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate with risk and control functions to ensure program effectiveness.
- Monitor the program proactively to address issues early.
- Perform root cause analysis to develop long-term solutions.
- Partner with sourcing, legal, compliance, and audit functions.
- Respond to regulatory requests for information.
- Deliver on strategic change objectives.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Understanding of risk management and control principles, with good risk judgment and proactive monitoring skills.
- Basic knowledge of the outsourcing regulatory landscape in financial services.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop solutions.
- Ability to partner closely with related functions, with a strong client service mindset.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, allocate time efficiently, and re-prioritize tasks as needed.
- Strong data analytics and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, generate meaningful insights, and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where change is constant.
- Well-organized, independent self-starter, capable of self-prioritization and appropriate escalation.
- Team player who is collaborative, positive, and has a drive for problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Prior experience in outsourcing and third-party risk management.
- Experience in regulatory analysis and assessment.
- Ability to collaborate with global and local stakeholders across different time zones.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
