Job Responsibilities

  • Support the coverage team in delivering assigned financial objectives across Payments and Trade through solution penetration, wallet expansion, and disciplined opportunity management.
  • Originate opportunities by prospecting, pitching, and positioning Payments and Trade solutions (e.g., receivables/collections, payables, liquidity & cash concentration, cash management, digital channels, account services; letters of credit, guarantees/standby LCs, documentary collections, import/export financing, supply chain finance/working capital solutions where applicable).
  • Independently partner with coverage team to originate and execute for Trade Finance opportunities, particularly in guarantees/standby LCs, Letter of Credits, Trade Loan, Supply Chain Finance and Single Obligor Receivable Purchase solutions.
  • Translate client treasury and working-capital needs into integrated solutions, partnering with specialists to structure proposals.
  • Manage opportunities end-to-end from qualification through proposals, internal approvals, documentation/coordination, implementation handoff, and post–go-live adoption.
  • Support pricing and profitability assessments; coordinate approvals and partner with billing/operations to ensure accurate fee setup, billing validation, and leakage remediation.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, client/industry research, and analyze transactional/trade activity to identify trends, risks, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Prepare client materials including pitch decks, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses, ensuring consistency of solution design and economics.
  • Own pipeline reporting, forecasting inputs, and deal tracking; maintain audit-ready documentation and support relevant control processes.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Bankers, Product, Implementation, Client Service, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and regional partners to execute deals and deliver strong client outcomes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and structuring skills; able to translate complex topics into clear messages for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Results-oriented with comfort operating in a sales environment aligned to financial outcomes.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple workstreams and follow-through.
  • Ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders across functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • 5+ years relevant front office experience (Transaction Banking/Payments, Trade Finance, Corporate Banking coverage, Treasury, or related roles).
  • Experience with RFP/RFI responses, pricing/profitability support, and multi-stakeholder deal execution/implementations.
