Join a team shaping the firm’s approach to AI and data policy across a rapidly evolving global regulatory landscape. In this role, you will support stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, and thought leadership through strong research, analysis, and project execution. You will work closely with partners across corporate responsibility, government relations, and data and analytics leadership. This position offers meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to contribute to high-impact initiatives.
As an Associate in the AI and Data Policy team, you will support the development and execution of a firmwide approach to AI and data policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership. You will partner with colleagues across corporate responsibility, government relations, and the chief data and analytics organization to help ensure alignment with broader objectives and strategies. You will conduct research and analysis on policy and regulatory developments and help translate insights into clear, actionable materials. You will manage workstreams and help coordinate inputs across stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs on time. You will support internal- and external-facing projects and engagements that advance the team’s priorities.
The role reports to the Head of Global AI and Data Policy and supports a range of strategic, operational, and project needs across the team. Responsibilities include supporting senior leadership with briefing materials and ensuring appropriate updates on progress and deliverables. The role requires comfort operating independently, managing multiple priorities, and producing polished written and presentation materials.
Job responsibilities:
- Tracks strategic plans and priorities, coordinates inputs, facilitates cross-team collaboration, and tracks outputs
- Supports the creation of content for internal and external engagements, including presentations, reports, and policy briefs
- Provides project management and coordination support for department-wide initiatives and monitors progress to ensure timely updates and completion
- Conducts research and analysis on AI policy trends, regulatory developments, and industry practices to inform strategic decision-making
- Assists with budget management and coordinates business relationships with consultants, think tanks, membership organizations, and external stakeholders
- Collaborates with colleagues to plan and execute special events, including team offsites, stakeholder engagements, and industry conferences
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills, including sound judgment and collaborative decision-making
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate concepts and strategies effectively
- Strong organizational skills and project management experience
- Experience presenting to and communicating with senior management
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and consistent follow-through to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Self-starter mindset with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in policy and/or government
- Experience supporting policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, or thought leadership initiatives related to technology, data, or AI
- Experience drafting or editing policy briefs, executive briefings, or external-facing materials
