DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Perform production support, including deploying, monitoring, and analyzing incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Computer System Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Senior Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Computer System Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Senior Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: developing full stack web applications including UI, server, and database components; utilizing basic UI technologies, including HTML and CSS, to create user interfaces; developing UI components using modern frameworks with Angular and React using TypeScript or JavaScript; designing and implementing Cloud Native software solutions; deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; developing web servers using Java Enterprise Edition and common Java tools including one build systems such as Maven, Spring, or Apache Tomcat; writing unit tests for back-end components or front-end using Java testing frameworks such as TestNG or Junit; designing and developing APIs, including RESTful and event- driven APIs; deploying and supporting applications using event-driven technologies such as RabbitMQ or SQS; utilizing CI/CD tools to perform continuous integration and deployment; designing relational databases and creating, maintaining, and querying them using SQL; and working with SQL databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.

Full-Time. Salary: $161,100.00-$185,000.00 per year.
