Job Summary
As a Financial Health Associate within our team, you will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and communicating the financial performance and stability of the firm's third-party suppliers. You will support the annual financial assessments of our third-party suppliers tied to regulatory requirements, assist with comprehensive reporting and data review, and help drive key process improvements that inform strategic financial risk mitigation decisions. This position requires exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to identifying and managing supplier financial risks. You will collaborate and communicate professionally and concisely with key leaders, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of critical financial health assessments. Job Responsibilities
- Execute financial health assessments of third-party suppliers by gathering / working with suppliers to obtain financial statements, ensuring timely completion of assessments, and adherence to established compliance requirements and firm standards
- Maintain highly organized tracking systems and documentation for supplier financial reviews, including status updates, risk ratings, and escalations
- Collaborate with Third-Party Risk Management Teams, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and business unit stakeholders to gather information, coordinate reviews, and communicate financial health findings
- Engage professionally and concisely with external vendors to request financial documentation, clarify information, and follow up on outstanding items in a timely manner
- Prepare clear and concise reports, and executive summaries that communicate financial health status, risk assessments, and actionable insights
- Drive continuous process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, proposing enhancements to workflows and reporting tools, and supporting the implementation of best practices
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial health dashboards, metrics tracking, and management information reporting to ensure budget compliance
- Stay current on regulatory requirements, industry trends, and emerging risks related to third-party supplier financial health monitoring
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, Procurement, Program Management or related field
- 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, third-party risk management, or related field
- 1+ year of Ariba working experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to risk identification and mitigation with sound judgment and escalation practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and concisely with senior leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and external vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience tracking spreadsheets, and analyzing financial data
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance and escalate issues appropriately
- Professional demeanor and discretion when handling sensitive financial information and vendor relationships

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and project management
- Experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, or supplier financial analysis
- Experience using third-party risk management platforms and financial analysis tools
- Knowledge of credit rating methodologies and financial risk assessment frameworks
- Background in financial services, banking, or highly regulated industries
