As a Global Corporate Banking Analyst in our team, you will provide essential support to deal teams, ensuring the preparation of pitch books and the execution of transactions. You will coordinate with analysts, senior team members, and credit underwriting to help gain, manage, and maintain client relationships. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and practical knowledge through comprehensive training and ongoing development.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare presentation and marketing materials for client meetings and transaction execution, covering topics such as financing alternatives, capital markets activity, capital structure advisory, treasury services, and derivatives
- Participate in all stages of the syndicated and leveraged finance investment banking deal cycle, from pitch phase through execution
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate client creditworthiness and analyze the impact of various capital structures
- Conduct industry research and perform comparable company and transaction analysis
- Coordinate efforts with deal team members and product partners across Global Corporate Banking
- Support the structuring and documentation of credit requests
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables, maintaining high standards for client presentations and risk analysis
- Communicate effectively with clients, product partners, and internal stakeholders
- Adapt quickly to evolving deals and capital markets, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and development
- Participate in training and continuing education to enhance technical and practical banking knowledge
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum one year of experience in Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, or Accounting
- Previous experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking with a strong corporate finance or credit background
- Ability to identify and assess credit transaction risks, and support the structuring and documentation of credit requests
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Effective communication and partnership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to assume a high level of responsibility and manage multiple priorities
- Proactive learner, able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
