As a member of the Consumer and Community Banking Allocations team within the Central Planning and Analysis team, you will be responsible for managing actual rules, updating and correcting them as business needs arise. You will monitor incoming allocations and assist the business with any issues or ad hoc requests. You will review the monthly forecast and recovery position, perform variance analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, and act as a liaison between various business units, ensuring compliance with all corporate policies for indirects. You will prepare and load indirect actuals, budgets, and mid-year forecasts, ensuring rules and volumes are loaded and data is validated after each run. You will handle forecast and budget reporting, and assist with or manage projects as requested or needed, such as legal entity or business closures, offshore business management, cost studies, efficiency projects, and other allocation projects. You will support multiple ad hoc requests from the business and senior management and maintain a calendar of deliverables.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Actual rules; updating and correcting when business needs arise.
- Monitor incoming allocations and assist business with any issues or Ad Hoc requests.
- Review monthly forecast and recovery position. Variance analysis (Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly)
- Act as liaison between various Business Units, understand and follow all Corporate policies for In-directs.
- Prepare & load Indirect Actuals, Budgets and Mid-Year Forecast. Ensure Rules and Volumes are loaded and data is validated after each run.
- Forecast and Budget reporting
- Assist and/or manage projects as requested/needed (Some Projects that may be part of duties: Legal Entity or Business closures, offshore BMs, cost studies, efficiency projects, and other allocation projects as needed).
- Support multiple ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management.
- Maintain calendar of deliverables
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• MBA/Post Graduation/CMA.
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in banking industry
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and partnering skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
• Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach independently
• Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Essbase and SAPCO would be an added advantage, Knowledge of Alteryx /Tableau/Anaplan XL is preferred
- FP&A experience preferred
