JPMorgan Chase Health and Wellness Centers are onsite ambulatory clinics located within 21 of our U.S. corporate campuses. Thousands of employees visit JPMorgan Chase Health and Wellness Centers each year for a variety of services which include urgent/emergent care, travel health consultation, injections, biometric screening, labs, health coaching and health education.
As a Corporate Health Nurse Supervisor, within the JPMorgan Chase Health and Wellness Centers, you will oversee a team of nurses in assigned clinics to deliver professional clinical care for occupational and non-occupational employee health needs, demonstrate clinical distinction, ensure operational excellence, create value for JPMorgan Chase U.S. Health Services and establish trust and respect with the firm’s employees, providers, nurses, administrative staff and key organizational/community stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinics in assigned business hub including comprehensive staff management: hiring, onboarding, training/orientation, mentoring, scheduling, guidance in decision making and performance management/evaluation, budget monitoring, project management and office/inventory management
- Oversee and provide clinical nursing care for the management of occupational and non-occupational health conditions; Adhere to evidence-based, symptom-focused established protocols
- Coordinate and implement health promotion initiatives including health screenings, health assessments, health-related counseling/education, immunizations and travel consultations; Manage and review work accommodation and ergonomic case requests; Make referrals to employee assistance programs and/or community resources
- Document all encounters in electronic health record system and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all health information
- Demonstrate respect for JPMorgan Chase employees, staff, colleagues and management team; Collaborate with Regional Nurse Manager and other Nurse Supervisors to coordinate daily operations and Health Services initiatives; Foster partnerships with cross-functional and community stakeholders
- Uphold compliance with nursing audit protocols, standards of care, OSHA and safety/environmental guidelines for storage and use of medical supplies as well as proper medical waste disposal procedures according to federal, state and local regulations; Ensure adherence to organization’s code of conduct, policies and procedures; Identify, resolve and mitigate risk across assigned clinics and escalates/reports to leadership as needed
- Cultivate trust and confidence in the care provided; Attain a high level of employee satisfaction as demonstrated through verbal and written feedback as well as employee satisfaction survey
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- License & education requirements: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the states of employment/practice; if eligible, multi-state/ compact RN License or other state license as per business need; current BLS certification; Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Work experience: 10+ years of nursing experience with 5+ years of nursing experience in emergency room, critical care, occupational health, urgent care or ambulatory clinic environment(s) and 3+ years in nursing management; Strong overall clinical and nursing judgment skills
- Proficiency in and attention to detail with electronic health record software and Microsoft Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of case management (such as work accommodations and ergonomics), workers' compensation and governmental regulations
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; Ability to adapt working/communication style for all levels within the department as well as employees and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to work within a fast-paced corporate environment
- Ability to work in-person five days a week and rotate across assigned clinics depending on business need
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Certification in Occupational Health, Ambulatory Care, Case Management or Health Coaching, a plus
