As a Quant Associate Senior in the Data Analytics team, you collaborate with stakeholders to define goals and develop strategies that drive product performance and enhance user experience. You leverage advanced business intelligence techniques to inform product development and investment decisions, contributing to the success of Proprietary Wallets.
Job responsibilities
- Own the reporting and automation function for the Proprietary Wallets Analytics team
- Implement industry standards in reporting to ensure high data quality
- Translate business needs into data models that support long-term solutions
- Create data models using best practices to ensure data quality and reduce redundancy
- Rationalize complex data sets for cross-organizational consumption
- Partner with the Line of Business and Business Intelligence teams to understand requirements and objectives
- Communicate actionable insights from dashboards and analytics to diverse audiences
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage senior stakeholder conversations
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau, with experience in Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, SQL DB, and Snowflake
- Ability to explain and translate complex dashboards and concepts into actionable insights
- Strong initiative and ability to independently complete tasks while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with operational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platforms
- Intellectual curiosity, drive for innovation, and eagerness to learn
- Experience in developing data models and reporting solutions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Over ten years of industry experience in Business Intelligence or Data and Analytics with a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
- Experience in digital and product intelligence with a deep understanding of digital metrics and definitions
- Expertise in digital behavioral data tools such as Adobe Analytics and proficiency with modern business intelligence tools including SQL, AWS, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Python, and R
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse viewpoints
