As a Trading Services Associate II in the Agency Securities Lending team, you provide critical operational support to our global trading desks. You will monitor client sales, manage inventory for settlements, and facilitate asset transitions for APAC clients. You will work closely with traders, counterparties, and agent banks to ensure smooth trade settlements and resolve issues efficiently. You help maintain the highest standards of risk control and client service, contributing to the success of our business. You will be empowered to recommend process improvements and collaborate with colleagues across regions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Securities Lending trading desks across global markets
  • Monitor client sales and ensure adequate inventory for timely settlement
  • Assist the trading desk with recalls, swaps, proxy events, buffer management, MSCI rebalances, and client transitions
  • Monitor Securities Lending trades to ensure settlement, liaising directly with counterparties and agent banks
  • Manage asset transitions and incremental requests for APAC clients
  • Protect client and bank interests by maintaining integrity and service standards
  • Review and update controls, workflows, and task lists to minimize financial loss
  • Inform and collaborate with Risk Management on potential risks
  • Proactively assess and recommend process improvements for risk mitigation
  • Communicate issues effectively and ensure team understanding
  • Escalate and resolve operational issues, updating procedures as needed. Ensure all work is actioned, accounted for, and control procedures are followed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Minimum three years’ experience in Securities Lending, Settlements, Trade Support/Middle Office, or Corporate Actions
  • Strong knowledge of global financial markets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues independently
  • Experience with software tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Tableau, and Alteryx Suite
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
  • Experience working with APAC clients or in a global team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
  • Familiarity with risk management practices
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach
