Join JPMorgan Chase’s Financial Forecasting & Analysis team, and be responsible for delivering high-quality financial forecasting, planning, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the firm. As a Senior Associate in the Financial Forecasting & Analysis team, you will lead and support the transition of our operating model from a legacy Essbase/Oracle-centric environment to a modern Atoti/Databricks platform. This role is ideal for candidates with advanced analytical, technical, and project management skills who are passionate about promoting transformation and innovation in financial data management and reporting.

Job responsibilities

  • Advance the migration of financial forecasting, planning, and reporting processes from Essbase/Oracle to Atoti/Databricks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows leveraging Atoti/Databricks capabilities for enhanced automation, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the transition.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Business teams to gather requirements, communicate progress, and address challenges during the migration.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Atoti/Databricks, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for new processes and provide training/support to end-users to facilitate adoption of the new platform.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing optimization and automation within the new operating model.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or related roles within large organizations.
  • Advanced understanding of Essbase/Oracle and experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proven track record in process reengineering, data migration, and system implementation projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in financial services or banking industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud data architectures and modern analytics tools.
  • Experience in documentation and end-user training.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
