As a Quant Analytics Associate Senior in the Card Collections Analytics team, you will leverage data to develop strategies and reporting that enhance collections performance and customer experience. You will collaborate with diverse teams to deliver insights that drive business value and innovation.
Job responsibilities
- Perform quantitative analysis using SQL and Alteryx to evaluate collections strategies and product features
- Identify opportunities to enhance strategy segmentation and translate analytics insights into actionable recommendations
- Analyze customer behavior across collections channels to inform timely outreach
- Build business cases, design tests, and analyze pilot program performance
- Conduct reporting to assess communication effectiveness across calls, emails, and mobile notifications
- Lead development and reporting of operations performance metrics and KPIs
- Create self-serve tools to provide real-time information to decision-makers
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or related field with eight years professional experience
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and strong database skills
- Proficient in writing, optimizing, and tuning complex SQL scripts
- Hands-on experience with at least three of SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx
- Proven ability to deliver analytics solutions under strict timelines
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex findings succinctly to stakeholders
- Ability to engage both technical and non-technical partners effectively
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in financial services or consulting supporting financial firms
- Familiarity with collections analytics, risk strategy, or cross-channel communications strategy
- Exposure to big data disciplines, AWS, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with operations workflow or agent desktop/user interface
