As a Client Solutions Architect Manager within JP Morgan Payments, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales process and facilitating the technical adoption of comprehensive product solutions for clients with complex needs. By leveraging your deep technical knowledge of specific products and industries, you will design and implement solutions that deliver value to clients, monitor product usage, and ensure successful outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and enhancement of firm products and solutions, partnering with Technology to address complex client requirements.
- Support Sales in solutioning and managing deal stages, including pricing, pipeline planning, and account planning.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing capabilities and solutions.
- Define and document development requirements for product design improvements based on client feedback.
- Partner with Product Management to ensure effective change management and readiness for product launches.
- Work closely with Service, Sales, Implementation, and other internal teams to provide updates, training, and general communication.
- Document new and existing processes, executing projects to drive operational efficiency.
- Participate in complex client implementations, instilling urgency and leading initiatives to successful completion.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of related products.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to apply deep domain knowledge to solution configurations.
- Experience supporting Sales in pricing, pipeline management, and account planning.
- Proven ability to work with clients in a technology-driven environment and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Exceptional client management and executive-level communication skills.
- Experience in payments, technology, e-commerce, and financial services; Treasury Services/Payments or Merchant Services experience.
- In-depth understanding of payment systems, operational and product delivery, and transaction processing.
- Strong client-interface and teamwork skills, with the ability to identify client challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of product development processes, project management, and product development lifecycle.
- Experience with digital channels products, including API, voice, and mobile technologies.
- Familiarity with traditional and emerging payment methods (e.g., global clearing, real-time payments, digital wallets, and cards).
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Client-focused advocate dedicated to understanding client needs and enhancing client experience.
