As a Product Manager, you’ll play an important role in developing our proposition and driving product innovation. You will help define our pricing strategy, and ensure our products align with strategic goals. Your expertise will be key in monitoring product performance, conducting market research, and supporting customer acquisition initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, ensuring seamless user experiences and compliance with our risk and control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, prioritizing, and owning specific market requirements for new and existing savings products, leveraging customer insights, competitive analysis, and applicable regulations.
  • Assist in crafting and implementing a compelling customer value proposition that addresses the specific needs and preferences of the German consumer base.
  • Contribute to defining and implementing viable commercial models and pricing strategies that drive growth and enhance profitability, considering market demand, competitor pricing, cost structures, and potential regulatory impacts.
  • Prepare regular reviews of the product line's performance, ensuring alignment with broader ICB strategic goals.
  • Run monitoring frameworks and systems to track product performance and commercial metrics across the product line
  • Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify key differentiators for the product, gaining insights into customer behavior and market trends.
  • Support the execution of a strategic agenda for acquiring new customers and expanding market reach for the product line.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and the risk and control management framework, mitigating potential risks.
  • Monitor the latest trends, best practices, and regulations in financial services, cultivating in-depth knowledge of the product area.
  • Support implementation and testing, including operational set-up and training where required.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in building and managing product propositions for a high-performing German bank or fintech.
  • Familiar with conducting market research and analysis to understand competitive pricing dynamics and identify commercial opportunities for differentiation.
  • Ability to utilize analytical tools and techniques to extract actionable insights from various datasets and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Understanding of financial principles and metrics related to pricing, including margin analysis, profitability assessments, and revenue forecasting.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, and behaviors within the German retail financial sector.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for financial services in Germany.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, digitally-focused setting.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills. Additional knowledge of German preferred.
