Amazon seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst II to join our NA AMZL finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning 1-3 years out, executing the month-end close process, and leading entitlement projects that drive overall cost to serve down for our customers. This hands-on position requires excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills as you'll work across operations and support teams to influence strategic decisions.

• Execute month-end close processes with attention to detail, ensuring accurate financial reporting and proactively identifying discrepancies
• Lead entitlement projects by analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and partnering with operations teams to implement solutions
• Report on daily and weekly performance metrics, transforming data into actionable insights for operational leaders
• Influence key stakeholders by communicating financial implications of business decisions, serving as a strategic partner to operations teams to improve execution

A day in the life
Your day begins with reviewing key financial metrics and preparing performance reports that provide visibility into NA AMZL/RSR operations. You'll collaborate with operations teams to analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Throughout the day, you'll toggle between tactical execution—such as working on month-end close tasks—and strategic planning activities. You'll participate in meetings with cross-functional teams where you'll present financial insights and influence decisions that impact the business over the next 1-3 years.
