Join our team to help Public Sector organizations in Central America and the Caribbean transform their operations through cloud technology. As an Account Executive, you'll build meaningful partnerships with education sector leaders and drive their adoption of Amazon Web Services while establishing AWS as a trusted technology partner in the region.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and market expansion in your defined territory and industry vertical by identifying opportunities, qualifying prospects, and closing deals that meet quarterly targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans that outline your strategy for customer engagement, market penetration, and revenue growth.
- Build and articulate compelling value propositions that connect AWS services to the specific business challenges and goals of Public Sector education organizations.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with key accounts and stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to technical teams, ensuring long-term partnership and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to extend market reach, accelerate customer adoption, and support customers through contract negotiations and implementation.
A day in the life
In this role, you'll focus on expanding AWS adoption within the Public Sector education sector across Central America and the Caribbean. You'll spend your time connecting with decision-makers at all levels—from C-suite executives to technical architects—to understand their unique challenges and show how AWS solutions can address them. Your days will include developing territory strategies, crafting presentations that highlight the value of AWS services, and nurturing relationships that lead to long-term partnerships. You'll also collaborate with our partner ecosystem to extend our reach and support customers through their cloud journey. This is a role where you'll balance strategic relationship-building with hands-on execution, working independently to hit quarterly targets while staying connected to our broader team's mission.
