Amazon Devices is looking for a customer-obsessed, analytical, results-oriented Senior Sales & Marketing Manager to drive demand for Amazon-branded Fire televisions in Europe. This role owns demand generation for Amazon televisions, taking decisions on which activities to deploy to grow the business, and then leading the operationalisation of those initiatives. The role is a mix of strategy and execution, and provides ownership of a PnL.
Our ideal candidate will have online marketing experience, be able to analyze forecasting and sales data to propose marketing initiatives, and have experience of driving demand for a business or category. You must be comfortable working both at the strategic level and diving deep into implementation as needed (including managing campaigns, writing business requirements, analyzing data, reporting on sales performance, setting up price promotions). You will show hustle, take ownership and help foster a high-energy, high-performance culture. Being able to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders in Europe and the US is an important component of the role.
Key job responsibilities
In this highly visible role, you will manage the online sales and marketing strategies for 1P Amazon-branded Fire televisions, working closely with global and local sales, supply/logistics teams, site merchandising and advertising teams across Amazon to ensure your product category reaches its maximum potential.
In a typical week you will be:
- Working with finance teams on the ideal pricing strategy
- Executing that strategy independently using Amazon tools/systems
- Reporting on sales performance in the prior week/month
- Writing a doc to a senior leadership audience about a growth opportunity
- Working with supply teams to ensure appropriate coverage
- Liaising with product teams to develop a marketing strategy for an upcoming product
