Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Launch Manager to join the Product Launch Management (PLM) team. In this role, you will lead go-to-market (GTM) efforts for our hardware roadmap, leveraging AI to drive speed and scale in launch execution. You will have principal responsibility for developing launch strategies and deploying GenAI-powered automation to streamline workflows, reduce manual coordination, and accelerate time-to-market for products globally. The ideal candidate will be metrics-driven with strong ownership and a proven track record of leveraging AI automation and GenAI to transform launch operations. He/she/they should also be comfortable with the technical aspects of product development and understand priorities for next-generation and new-to-world devices to our customers. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment and communicate clearly and persuasively to drive focus and excellence with cross-functional teams and leadership. This role requires expertise in implementing AI-powered workflows that automate repetitive launch tasks, generate intelligent documentation, and create AI chatbots that can serve global cross teams. This person will work closely with teams such as Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, Finance, Category Management, Sales, Brand and Product Marketing, In-store and Online Retail, Legal, PR, Customer Service, and Demand and Supply Planning. He/she/they will guide all teams to make key business decisions and execute launches of products that delight our customers, while continuously identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and scale launch operations through GenAI tools.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive GTM strategy for new products, including but not limited to target release dates, global assortment strategy, and drive a cohesive global launch
• Build overall launch work-back-schedule, align with stakeholder teams, and track tasks and milestones to ensure a successful, on-time product launch
• Build and implement AI-powered automation systems that streamline end-to-end launch workflows, from initial planning through post-launch activities, reducing manual coordination across product portfolios
• Effectively use GenAI workflows and prompts reduces the time to generate launch documentation, coordinate cross-functional deliverables, and to eliminate repetitive tasks
• Work with Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, Product Marketing, and Category to drive customer need, relevant features, and launch timing for new hardware and software/features/app
• Partner cross-functionally to drive innovative marketing programs and merchandising opportunities that are impactful to the business
• Leverage GenAI to automate traditional launch processes, including stakeholder communications, milestone tracking, and go-to-market material production
• Develop and present cohesive project view to leadership with business and launch strategy
• Establish automated reporting and monitoring systems that track launch progress in real-time, flag potential bottlenecks, and trigger alerts for critical path activities without manual intervention
• Be a voice of the customer by sharing their needs and product feedback, uncovering insights that lead to improved customer experience, product, and marketing
• Lead and drive launch efforts through owning cross-functional meetings, documentation, coordination and actual launch/shiproom, including the final product detail page review and sign-off

A day in the life
As a Senior Product Launch Manager, you will be managing multiple new product launches at various stages. We work cross-functionally but closest with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, Marketing, Category, and Demand and Supply Planning teams. In the morning, you might start by reviewing AI-generated launch status reports that automatically compile updates from all stakeholder teams overnight, then use AI prompts to draft meeting agendas and pre-populate action items before hosting a launch readiness call or meeting with EU teams before they end the day. You may then have a brainstorming meeting with Marketing, Strategy, Product Managers to review, align and decide on how to launch our next product. In the afternoon, you could leverage AI tools to automatically generate first drafts of GTM documentation, which you'll refine and finalize, before reviewing a product detail page with Creative and Online Experience teams to ensure the product launch strategy is consistent on all customer facing touch points. Toward the end of the day, you may configure automated workflows to track and follow up on action items with stakeholder teams, ensuring AI-powered alerts keep everyone on track to hit the next milestone, and use intelligent templates to prepare materials for your GTM weekly call with over 20+ stakeholders. Note these are just examples of various activities that could be part of a typical day.

About the team
Product Launch Management sets and drives a cohesive launch strategy for our products. They are the product launch subject matter experts from PRFAQ (Press Release, Frequently Asked Questions) through end-of-life (EOL). They work with many cross-functional teams to drive decisions related to the marketing five P's (product, price, promotion, placement, and people). The PLM team operates as a hub for Product Management, Demand Planning, Finance, PR, Packaging, Marketing, Ecommerce, Online Experience, Retail, Business Development, and Customer Service teams.
