We are looking for a UX Designer to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in powering Amazon's global delivery network through innovative technology and human-centered design. In this role, you will tackle complex operational challenges that bridge digital and physical experiences. You'll collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and safety teams, while mentoring other designers and driving design excellence across multiple workstreams. Basic qualifications
- Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders
- 5+ years of practical experience in UX design with an emphasis on content discovery and/or content engagement experiences.
- Demonstrated interaction design and visual craft skills including experience with prototyping mobile experiences
- An aesthetic sense and the ability to make confident decisions
- Demonstrated empathy for the people using your software or products
- Expertise with Figma

Preferred qualifications
- Experience working on associate-facing software experiences
- Executed research plans talking to real customers
- Knowledge of design systems
- Formal education in Design, Interaction/UX Design or HCI

Key job responsibilities
* Execute the design strategy for complex operational systems, considering both immediate needs and long-term scalability
* Define and improve design patterns, standards, and processes that can be adopted across teams
* Drive cross-functional alignment through effective communication of design decisions and trade-offs
* Identify and solve root causes of widespread operational challenges through innovative design solutions
* Contribute to design reviews and critiques, ensuring high-quality outcomes across multiple workstreams
* Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility while maintaining design integrity
* Aggregate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform product-level design decisions
* Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through data-informed design recommendations
* Champion user-centered design practices across the organization
