DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Head of Strategic Programs to lead the Strategic Programs team, which works in collaboration with peers in the Global GTM Strategy team and cross-functional stakeholders to define, land and execute against strategic priorities for the business. This team defines and leads new and existing initiatives for the AWS Global Sales organization focused on driving growth and improving productivity of our sales teams. This role will partner with stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Product, Partner, and Marketing teams. The individual will lead the incubation of new programs to execute on the strategy and will consistently deliver successfully against high standards. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves.”

The candidate will be a self-starter with high ownership, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and the foresight to anticipate business needs, make tradeoffs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. Key job responsibilities
• Lead your team to deliver strategic initiatives that fuel growth and productivity on behalf of the AWS Global Sales organization
• Incubate and execute on strategic cross functional programs
• Drive data-driven analysis and evaluation to make recommendations on strategic execution and investments
• Experiment to improve overall growth and operational efficiency of the business
• Prepare ad hoc analysis to support leadership decision-making
