DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and creative PR Specialist to join its communications team, located in the Paris area (Clichy). As a Public Relations Specialist, you will work with the Amazon Devices & Services International Communications team to imagine, develop, and help execute external brand awareness initiatives. This role requires a creative, driven, strategic, and nimble communications professional able to work across multiple disciplines concurrently, managing strategic planning, message development, issues management, proactive and reactive communications, internal stakeholder management, thought leadership, events, and media and influencer engagement.

Key job responsibilities
• Leverage creativity to design and execute PR campaigns both in France and at an international level
• Proactively identify and secure products, trends, and data for topical storytelling
• Support the Intl PR team with executing device and feature launches
• Collaborate with external agencies globally to support PR activities
• Coordinate with international PR team members to support events, speaking opportunities, influencer programs, etc
• Assist with coverage monitoring, reporting and analysis
• Adapt external material for internal communication purpose when relevant
• Identify and deliver the appropriate information in response to editorial requests
• Track Amazon and industry coverage to provide thoughtful analysis in reports

About the team
You will be part of a global team, with the opportunity to engage with stakeholders and colleagues from around the world. You will primarily manage a dedicated Devices & Services portfolio—including brands such as Kindle, Fire TV, and Ring. You will also support other programs like Alexa, Echo, Project Kuiper. While their main responsibilities will be in France, you will also support cross-country projects and shared deliverables across the France, Italy, Spain, working in close collaboration with Amazon’s local teams in these countries.
